During the COVID pandemic, VRChat users Key & MDragonflame sought to explore the possibilities of virtual reality and founded New Eden. A virtual paradise and refuge for those seeking an escape from reality to a virtual one.
Confident in the future of this new and innovative technology, New Eden aims to support and develop its future while creating a safe and inspiring community & environment for all who seek more within the virtual world.
The world of New Eden
From concept art to lore, every avatar released is made with the belief that one day they could be more than products and so the world and story of New Eden was developed and still being developed today.
While far from being released, every character is typically released with a bit of story in hopes that one day New Eden will be big enough to tell it in a way that our characters deserve.
Setting a new standard
On April 7th of 2023, New Eden opened the doors of its first premier event venue Evergarden.
attempting to do what many said was "ambitious" or simply "not feasible". Evergarden hosted its first VIP event in front of some of VRChats most talented creators and personalities bringing unique and creative live performances to the stage complimented by complex lighting systems and visuals all within an optimized and handcrafted world.
Today, New Eden continues to host immersive events, pushing creative boundaries with each show thanks to New Eden's incredible volunteer staff and entertainer teams. Thanks to their continued hard work New Eden was even able to secure a Raindance nomination for "Best Immersive Experience" in a record breaking 6 months in operation.
